Ever wonder how the Yogi’s in ancient times came up with the names of Yoga Postures?
Did you ever take a Yoga class and the teacher calls a posture one name and then take someone else’s class and the teacher calls the same pose something different?
Who’s right??
In this week’s YouTube video I break down the names of Yoga postures into four categories and explain why there are sometimes the same name for a different pose OR a different name for the same pose!
There is not one universal, or traditional style of Yoga therefore the names can be different.
