In todays world we need to take the time to find stillness. Everything seems to be moving so fast! Our Yoga Asana practice, especially the intensity of Hot Yoga and Vinyasa can make it easier to find a quiet place in our mind. Thousands of years ago the Yogi’s created the Postures for this very thing! The Yogi would attempt to meditate but his/her body and mind would not cooperate. The Yoga Postures are a wonderful way to prepare the Yogi to go within!
Thats why after my class I always take at least 5 minutes to guide the class to this stillness!
Meditation or Dhyana in Sanskrit is the highest technique in Yoga! After your next Yoga Asana practice take some time to enter a meditative state and find the stillness….It will change your life!!!
