Bikram Was LEAVING the Country He Wanted Me to Take Over Bikram Hot Yoga USA!
Hi Everyone,
This story starts in Las Vegas, of all places.
My son Bobby and I happened to be in town the same time Bikram was running a Teacher Training there, and we decided to stop in and say hello. I had a feeling I knew how he would react, and I was right.
I want to address something directly before I go further into this story. Some of you already know the fuller picture of what came out about Bikram years later. I am not here to pretend that does not exist, and I am not here to relitigate it either. Reconciling with someone professionally, at one point in time, is not the same as excusing what happened, and it is not the same as being blind to it. Those are two different things. I am going to tell you what happened between us, honestly, and you can draw your own conclusions.
I will not give away all the details here, but I can tell you that years later, Bikram asked me for something significant, and I had to make a decision that changed the direction of everything I built afterward. This is the final part of this series, and I think it ties the whole story together in a way that surprised even me.
